See this old photo of a starstruck then struggling Bruno Mars staring at Pete Wentz in awe

This photo was in 2008. Bruno Mars blew up a few years later and is today way more successful than Pete Wentz. That is life for you!

According to Kayode Ogundamisi, that is the reality of Nigerian soldiers fighting Boko Haram. Their daily feeding allowance is said to be N500. Sad! More tweets after the cut...

Photos: Hundreds of migrants dead after boat capsizes in the Mediterranean sea

Hundreds of men, women and children lost their lives yesterday after a rubber fishing boat carrying around 600 migrants capsized off Libya. According to reports, the boat capsized when the people on board rushed to one side when the LE Niamh got close to it.

"Those that were on deck would have managed to jump, some of them drowned and some of them were saved," said Martin Xuereb of the Migrant Offshore Aid Station in Malta.

Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) Dignity I vessel was one of the rescue boats.
"It was a horrific sight, people desperately clinging to lifebelts, boats and anything they could to fight for their lives," (MSF) project co-ordinator said.
The rescued migrants have been taken to Italy where they will undergo normal entry procedures. 25 bodies has so far been recovered from the sea. The Mediterranean Sea is the world's most deadly border area for migrants.

Switzerland-based International Organization for Migration (IOM) said on Tuesday that more than 2,000 migrants have died so far this year trying to cross the sea to reach Europe, confirming this as the deadliest route for migrants in search of a better life.

Former Chief of Army staff, Minimah has also started talking, says elites used BH for selfish interest

Few days after his sacked colleague, Alex Badeh, revealed that the military under their leadership lacked equipment, immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Kenneth Minimah is also talking about their inability to conquer Boko Haram. While giving his valedictory address at the Pulling-Out ceremony held in commemoration of his retirement from service in Abuja yesterday August 5th, Minimah said the elites used the insurgency to further their sectional, political and religious interest.

According to him,
“The insurgency snowballed into a graver dimension because these people exploited the security challenge to further sectional, religious and political interests. In the last decade, we have seen the extent to which people who harbour evil against their fellow co-patriots can go to inflict pain and death on innocent people. This is the time for us to rise in unison not only to condemn but to take actions against the activities of the Boko Haram terrorists and other criminal elements in order to foster peace and security in our society. Perhaps, if we had all stood against the terrorists at the outset through condemnation of their activities and active collaboration with the military to confront them, rather than use it as a tool to advance section, tribal, religious and political interests, we would not have been where we find ourselves today. We must therefore all unite and support our government and security forces to tackle the current security challenges.”he said

Shanta attends football matches and practices and then waits for hours outside just to get a glimpse of his hero. One day, he managed to take a photo with Ronaldo himself, who now knows him.

"My obsession for Cristiano is enormous. The reason I wanted to get a life like him is that he is rich, famous and living the life! I've met him for a couple of times and I can't explain such a fantastic person he is. I waited every day at the Real Madrid training ground from 9am to 2pm just to see him .Now, he knows me it means every time I go to Madrid I can meet him, which I am so proud of .I'm already planning my next trip which is very soon. He's not just my passion, but he motivates me. Some may think I'm crazy, but that's the way I am. People tell me, 'be yourself' but I cannot be myself more than I am now." he said

Stretch Mark Treatment

The dermis is 95% of the total skin volume and when the dermis is constantly overstretched it can break down and leave stretch marks behind. Stretch marks occur when skin doesn't bounce back after it's been stretched due to pregnancy, rapid weight gain, extreme weight loss, or use of toning and bleaching products. Hence, stretch marks seem to be caused, literally, by a stretching of the skin.

Focus of stretch mark treatment will be to restore the structural integrity of the skin by increasing the thickness of the skin and stimulating collagen formation. This could be achieved by doing the following as a single procedure or as multiple procedures however, multiple procedures are advised.

MICRONEEDLING – This cause micro-injury to the dermis with resultant production of collagen. It could be in the form of Professional (Medical) microneedle when the needle is longer and home use when the needle is shorter. Professional microneedles should only be used by a trained physician or medical health professional. The length of the needles on the microneedles determines the category.

DERMABRASION – This is a mechanical controlled surface layer damage to stimulate new cell formation which result in more layer and new skin layer production.

CHEMICAL PEELING – This is also a chemical controlled skin cell destruction to stimulate new and thicker skin layer.

LASER THERAPY – This can be used to produce fibroblasts which are cells responsible for collagen formation. It could also be used to cause micro-injury in the dermis with resultant more collagen formation.

PRODUTS – Specific products like copper serum, derma stretch, intensive scar repair, SND with Microneedle and Ultra XFoliant can give good results even without a physician visit.
