PDP official disrupts INEC result announcement, says Jega is partial and has been compromised

The PDP party agent at the Collation center in Abuja, Elder Godswill Orubebe is currently staging a protest at the INEC result collation center alleging that Prof Jega has been compromised. According to him, Professor Jega has been selective, partial and is tribalistic. He said APC had written a letter to INEC concerning an alleged rigging in Rivers state which he immediately sent a committee to investigate the issue but that when PDP wrote protest letters on the elections in Katsina, Kaduna and Jigawa, Jega did not send anyone to attend to their protest.

Orubebe, who is a former Minister of Niger Delta, is now calling for Jega to stop result collation. He sat on stage and refused to allow the result announcement to continue...

Pics: Stray dogs show up at funeral of woman who used to feed them

The funeral for a woman (pictured left) in Mexico took a strange but incredible turn when stray dogs unexpectedly showed up to pay their respects.

The woman, named Margarita Suarez was known for her kindness to all kinds of animals and used to feed stray dogs and cats that would show up at her home every day. Her family members said they were stunned when the dogs arrived at the funeral parlor where Margarita's body was lying in state.

The dogs laid peacefully on the floor near the woman's coffin and only left once Margarita's body was being prepared for cremation.

Meet the great grandmothers who watch porn & sleep with hundreds of men

An 80-year-old woman known as the ‘Gang Bang Queen’ has revealed she has slept with more than 1,000 men and starred in a number of porn films.

Shirley Andrews (pictured right) is one of a number of ‘super cougars’ who proudly boast about their active sex lives with hundreds of young men – some of who are less than a quarter their age. Despite living in an old people’s complex, Shirley boasts that she regularly has sex with men as young as 18 – in between knitting and crochet. The woman on the left is 92-year-old great-granny named Marge.

Piers Morgans writes about Germanwings co-pilot & the plane crash

I read this article on UK Daily Mail where Piers Morgan is an Editor-at-Large, found it interesting and thought to share. He titled it 'Depressed pilots on medication for mental illness should not be flying passenger planes. That's not insensitive - it's protecting lives. Read below...
I fly a lot. Last year alone, I travelled on 45 planes. Unlike my mother, who has a serious terror of flying, I have no qualms about it at all.
I’ve chuckled my way through violent cabin-thumping electrical storms in Hong Kong, and cheerfully slurped champagne through extreme turbulence in Texas during tornado season. To my logical Spock-like mind, it remains by far the safest way to transport myself. Statistically, you are more likely to die today being run over as you cross a road listening to your iPod than you are in a plane crash.

Instagram apologizes to girl with period pic, re-instates the photo

Instagram did not only apologize to Indian student Rupi Kaur for taking down her photo (left), they called it an accident and re-instated it. (If you don't know what this is about, read previous story here)

See Rupi's response to her photo being restored after the cut. I'm sorry, but I'd rather see a woman in a bikini than a woman menstruating...but to each his own and I'm glad instagram put it back up...

Two doctors ruled Germanwings co-pilot was unfit for work on day of crash - but he kept it secret from airline

Killer co-pilot Andreas Lubitz was signed off by 2 different doctors for the day of the Germanwings disaster but failed to tell his employers, it has been claimed. The claims come after it emerged Lubitz may have crashed his plane due to fears he was about to lose his licence on medical grounds.

Investigators revealed today that medical sign-off notes were found at Lubitz's home - including two for the day of the crash - and Dusseldorf University Hospital confirmed he had been a patient there over the past two months, although it would not disclose his condition.

Investigators at the crash site today revealed they have retrieved more than 400 body parts belonging to the victims - but have not found an intact body. Police have now asked friends and families of the deceased to provide DNA samples as they start the grim task of identifying those who lost their lives

Photos: Pres Jonathan arrives Bayelsa ahead of tomorrow's election

President Jonathan arrived Bayelsa this evening ahead of tomorrow's presidential elections. More pics after the cut...

This photo was removed by instagram. The owner writes a powerful open letter in response

Indian student Rupi Kaur, a Sikh poet studying at the University of Waterloo, Canada, posted an image which is a part of her photo-series project for a visual rhetoric course on Instagram. It was subsequently taken down by Instagram citing violation of the 'Community Guidelines'. That's the pic above.

Looking at the photo, you will understand why it was taken down. The patch of menstrual blood on the sheets and the sweats were probably not to their taste. However, Rupi decided to re-post the photo and wrote a powerful open letter. Read that after the cut...

Man cuts open giant snake's belly & you won't believe what he saw inside

This man and his friends discovered a giant snake with hugely swollen stomach in the bushes and decided to cut the belly open to see what was inside the snake. What they saw left them shocked. It was another giant reptile. The snake's last meal had actually been another huge snake, both nearly identical in size. The man pulled the second snake out of the body of the first one and laid them both on the ground next to each other. See the photos after the cut...

Terrorists killed as troops recapture Gwoza, BH HQ + photos from the operation

Statement from the Defence Headquarters below and photos from the operation after the cut..
Sequel to the violent and heinous crimes perpetrated by terrorists in North Eastern Nigeria, the Armed Forces of Nigeria was tasked to halt the carnage and restore sanity in that region. This resulted in the deployment of land and air forces. The deployment denied the terrorists the freedom of action they had hitherto enjoyed and they resorted to diversionary tactics known with terrorist groups around the world by carrying out isolated attacks and bombings.

Nigeria Election 2015: Ways To Identify A Fake Police Man/Woman

1. Number tag of a real policeman must be six digits, less than six, is fake.

2. Only female police officers have their numbers begin with “0”, any policeman with number beginning with “0” is fake.

3. Every policeman’s name tag is woven to the shirt, no more removable name tags.

4. A distinction between the normal policeman and the SPY (supernumerary) police personnel, is that a SPY number must be either three or four digits with the word “SPY” boldly inscribed on their uniform shoulder. Please, at night be vigilant, always roll-up your windows in traffic, central lock your doors, be double sure they are true policemen, if they are not, be strong and speed off. Never get frightened. Be watchful, they are everywhere; educate your family members, neighbors, and friends. GOD Almighty will continue to protect us.

Terrorist Attack? Buildings Collapse After Explosion in New York

Inspectors from New York's gas utility were at a building in Manhattan's East Village on Thursday a little more than an hour before a fiery blast injured at least 19 people, at least four critically, leveled the structure and a neighboring one, officials said. The explosion appeared to be "gas-related," Mayor Bill de Blasio said, adding there were no reports of gas leaks beforehand. The cause is under investigation. Consolidated Edison inspectors were at the Second Avenue building "evaluating the meter installation for a new service ... to the building," utility President Craig Ivey told reporters. There was a second gas service in operation at the same building. The installation of the new meter "did not pass our inspection at that time, so it meant it wasn't ready for gas to be introduced," Ivey said. Con Edison said in a statement that a survey Wednesday of gas mains on the block found no leaks. Inspectors were at the building at 2 p.m. Thursday.

The blast occurred at 3:17 p.m. De Blasio said investigators were talking with the Con Edison employees who inspected the work of private contractors at the building. The name of the contractor was not provided. "We are not going to speculate on details until we have a full report," the mayor said. "We have to put those pieces together." The powerful explosion rocked a heavily traveled section the East Village in late afternoon, injuring some people with burns in their airways, scattering debris and forcing the closure of streets. No one was believed to be trapped in the two collapsed buildings, officials said. At least two other neighboring buildings were damaged -- one in danger of collapse.Images from the scene showed the first two floors of a five-story, red-brick building collapsed onto each other. That building and a neighboring one soon were leveled by the intense fire.

Read the national broadcast by Pres. Jonathan on the 2015 election

President Jonathan this morning addressed the nation in a TV broadcast where he called on everyone to come out en-mass to vote for leaders of their choice. What he said below...
Dear Compatriots,
1. As we prepare to go to the polls tomorrow, I have come before you this morning to express my immense appreciation for the opportunity you gave me to lead this great nation of ours in the past four years.

2.           I also wish to place on record, once again, my sincere gratitude for the support you have given my administration without which the significant progress we have made in recent years would not have been possible.

3.           In spite of the many challenges we have had to contend with since 1999, our present democratic dispensation continues to endure and grow stronger in keeping with the yearnings and aspirations of our people.

4.           We have all worked very hard to nurture and strengthen our democratic institutions and promote the good governance practices which they were designed to deliver for the better well-being of  our people.

5.           I believe I can say without fear of contradiction that we all clearly cherish the democracy we now have and will never willingly give it up for any other form of governance.

6.           This much-cherished democracy of ours is about to be put to the test once again.

7.           I urge you all to troop out en-masse to peacefully perform your civic duty of voting for leaders of your choice tomorrow.

8.          As we do so, let us all - political party leaders, contestants, party members, party agents, supporters and ordinary voters alike, be very conscious of the fact that the eyes of the entire world are on us.

9.           We must therefore comport ourselves in a manner that will further strengthen our democracy and consolidate our place in the comity of truly democratic nations.

10.       I made a commitment on assumption of office to progressively deliver freer, fairer and more credible elections in our country. In keeping with that commitment, the Federal Government has given the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) all necessary support to ensure that it conducts very successful elections tomorrow and on April 11.

11.        We have all been assured that INEC is fully ready for the elections. I believe that we can all trust that they are certainly more ready now than they may have been before security issues and other concerns necessitated a re-scheduling of the dates for the 2015 general elections.

12.       As an administration, we welcome the fact that millions of Nigerians who were yet to receive their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) as at February 14, and would therefore have been unfairly disenfranchised if the polls had gone ahead  on that date, have seized the opportunity of the re-scheduling to collect their cards and can now exercise their right to vote tomorrow.

13.       We are also glad that our gallant Armed Forces have successfully stemmed the seizure of Nigerian territories in the North-East by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.

14.       They have recaptured most of the communities and territories formerly occupied by the insurgents, making it possible for thousands of internally-displaced Nigerians to begin returning to their homes and communities.

15.       I heartily commend the very courageous men and women of our Armed Forces for the immense sacrifices which they continue to make in defending the nation and protecting its citizens.

16.       I also thank all Nigerians for keeping faith with us over the past six weeks.

17.       I call on all political parties and politicians in the country to allow the free, unfettered will of our people to be expressed without any hindrance in the coming elections in keeping with the hallowed principles and tenets of democratic governance which we all profess.

18.      The will of the people freely expressed through the ballot is the bedrock of all democracies and ours cannot be an exception.

19.       Let us all therefore be prepared, as true democrats, to graciously accept the outcome of the elections as the rightful choice of our people from whom all political powers in our democracy must emanate.

20.     My administration has done its utmost best in the past four years to deliver on our promise to positively transform our country.

21.       Tomorrow’s election is another very important milestone as we continue our march towards the fulfillment of our God-given potential for greatness.

22.      The election offers us another opportunity to empower leaders of our choice once again, and to show the world that genuine democracy is alive and well in our beloved nation.
23.      I will like to restate my belief that no political ambition can justify violence or the shedding of the blood of our people.

24.      I reaffirm once again, my personal preparedness to ensure fair play during the elections and to deploy the resources and institutions of state only in the manner prescribed by our laws.

25.      Let me warn, however, that as President, Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces, I am under oath to protect the lives of all Nigerians and the security of our country at all times. I will never abdicate my responsibilities in that regard.

26.      Democracy allows dissent. It encourages differences and even fervent disagreements. But elections must never be mistaken for war or an opportunity to set fellow citizens against each other and tear our beloved nation apart.

27.       Those who may harbor any intentions of testing our will by unleashing violence during the elections in order to advance their political ambitions should think again as all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure that any persons who breach the peace or cause public disorder during or after the elections are speedily apprehended and summarily dealt with according to our laws.

28.     The nation’s security agencies are also fully prepared and ready to deal decisively with any group or persons who attempt to disrupt the peaceful conduct of the elections or cause any form of public disorder.

29.       Our dear country, Nigeria is the largest democracy amongst black nations of the world. We are a nation of great accomplishments, with a proud history of evolving affinities.

30.     Let us go out tomorrow to vote peacefully and set a fitting example of political maturity for other emerging democracies to follow.

31.       I wish you all and our dear nation, very peaceful and successful elections.

32.      May God Almighty continue to bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

33.      I thank you all.

Pics of Germanwings killer pilot. Was receiving psychiatric treatment until the day he crashed plane

Pilot Andreas Lubitz might have been suffering a personal crisis at the time of the fatal Germanwings crash, it was claimed last night. Reports from Germany suggested the 28-year-old was struggling to cope after a failed relationship when he deliberately ploughed the Airbus A320 into the mountainside, killing his 149 passengers.

The theory emerged just hours after police investigating the disaster announced they had made a 'significant discovery' during a four-hour search of Lubitz's flat, which he is said to have shared with a girlfriend. Officers refused to reveal details of the potential breakthrough but insisted it was not a suicide note.

Jay Z and Beyonce caught fighting in public?

Story according to urban website - Crazy Days and Nights.
For the first time I can remember, the two lost their cool in public where at least four other diners and a couple of waiters in a private room witnessed them having a blowout fight. Granted this intel only comes from two people who were in the room but once tabloids and wallets start digging perhaps they can get the waiters to spill.
The two were at dinner and had just had appetizers brought to the table.
A bodyguard was in one corner of the room seated at a table looking around but mostly looking at his phone. Beyonce started speaking louder and louder and Jay tried to get her to be quiet while looking around. The bodyguard started watching the scene and stopped looking at his phone but did not get up.
Things settled down when Jay whispered in Bayonce’s ear. About ten minutes later Beyonce said something else and whatever Jay said didn’t seem to work. He shrugged his shoulders and Beyonce started pointing at him and leaned over the table and got closer to his face and started talking louder.
He then said one last thing, pushed back her chair and threw her napkin on the table before getting up and headed towards the door. She motioned for the bodyguard to follow her and walked out the door to the room to the main part of the restaurant. By the time she got to the door, Jay had thrown literally a stack of money on the table and was chasing after her.

Chris Brown reportedly threatens to sue Oprah if Karrueche slanders him on TV

MediaTakeOut is claiming that Chris Brown plans to fight back and has threatened to sue Oprah if Karrueche slanders him on TV. Read the report below...
"MTO just got word of an explosive bit of tea. Chris Brown is fighting back against the slander piece that Karrueche and Iyanla planned to air against him in two weeks.
We spoke to a member of Chris Brown's team who told us that yesterday Chris Brown's attorney fired off a cease and desist letter to Oprah Winfrey and her OWN channel. The letter basically says that they can not slander his name, or try and use his name or likeness in their show without his consent.
We're told that Chris spoke to his advisors and realizes that there is a BIG SLANDER CAMPAIGN being lodged against him. Instead of handling the way he USUALLY DOES SO - by BLACKING OUT on Instagram . . . he's going to handle everything PROPERLY and LEGALLY.
We asked whether they thought that Chris CEASE AND DESIST LETTER TO OPRAH was just an empty threat. They told us, "It's not empty at all, we will sue the F*CK outta Oprah, OWN, or whoever, if they slander Chris or use his name."
OOOOH it's about to go DOWN!!

Between a Twitter user & Dana Airlines...
